Ghostbusters Theme was originally created as theme to the movie of the same name and its sequel. Due to the its popularity, this song also became a classic 80s tune. It was number 1 on Billboard Hit 100 for 3 weeks. No wonder that this song was used in nearly all numerous games about Ghostbusters. According to Parker, he got the idea for the song when he saw an ad on television.
As this song use many instruments at the same time (guitar, Jupiter 6 bass line, Korg Poly 61 main synth, LinnDrum machine, vocals), it was hard to render it on 3-5 channels of PSG of the systems where the games were created, so renditions of this song were mostly quite limited.
Shortly after the song was released, Ray Parker Jr. was sued by Huey Lewis for plagiarism of his song I Want A New Drug. The case was eventually settled out of court, and it was later revealed the filmmakers used the song as a placeholder, even when Lewis turned down the opportunity to work on the song.

Ghostbusters (A8)
The song is identical to the Commodore 64 version, even featuring the "Ghostbusters" and laughing voice clips made by the game's programmer Adam Bellin.
Ghostbusters (C64)
Probably the second arrangement of this song after Apple II version. It's low-rendered for MOS 6581 capabilities, but okay for 1984 year. It's the only song in this game.
This track is number 1 in the SID rip and has digital speech in the beginning. Two tracks were rendered; they are actually the same tune, but with and without intro.
Ghostbusters (A26)
Ghostbusters (CPC)
Ghostbusters (MSX)
Ghostbusters (ZXS)
Ghostbusters (NES)
Like the computer versions of Ghostbusters, the song is the only track in the game. However, also like the computer versions, the song plays in its entirety, and even contains the fadeout. The NES version of the song plays much faster than the original. The song resets from the beginning whenever the player gets a game over or wins the game and the ending screens are displayed. When the song fades out, there are a few seconds of silence before it loops again.
Due to the frequency registers programming, the song plays a ¼ step sharp.
It's track 1 in the NSF file.

Lyrics
Ghostbusters!
If there's something strange
In your neighborhood
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
If there's something weird
And it don't look good
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
If you're seeing things
Running through your head
Who can you call?
Ghostbusters!
An invisible man
Sleepin' in your bed
Ow, who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
If you're all alone
Pick up the phone
And call
Ghostbusters!
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
Ooh, I hear it likes the girls
Hm, I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Mmm, if you've had a dose of a
Freaky ghost, baby
You better call
Ghostbusters!
Ow!
Lemme tell ya something
Bustin' makes me feel good!
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
I ain't 'fraid of no ghost
Don't get caught alone oh, no
Ghostbusters!
When it comes through your door
Unless you just a-want some more
I think you better call
Ghostbusters!
Ow! Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Uh, think you better call
Ghostbusters!
Ha ha, who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
I can't hear you
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Louder
Ghostbusters!
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Who can you call?
Ghostbusters!
Who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
Uh, it likes the girls too
Ghostbusters!
