Kazuo Sawa is a Japanese composer, sound designer and programmer. He attended the Tokai University. While in college, he was playing in a band and then started work at Technos Japan Corp. While he mainly composed music for them, he seemed to have also been a freelance composer because of his previous work for HAL Laboratory, Jaleco, and Infinity, mainly for the Famicom. In 1993, he started DSP, a company which specializes in game audio. In November 2001, he founded the Tokai University Jazz Study Group OB Club with one of his colleagues. He is currently working as well freelance composer.
