Kazuhiro Nakamura (better known as Hige or Kaz Nakamura) is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He joined Namco in 1993, working on their games such as the Tekken and Time Crisis series. In 2006, he departed Namco and joined Keiichi Okabe's music company Monaca, continuing to write video game music and sound effects. Some of his best works with Monaca include Tales of Innocence and The Sky Crawlers. In addition to music and sound, he has also performed on the recordings of the games he worked on, mostly for guitar. In 2010, Nakamura left Monaca to become a freelance composer. As of late, he composed music for the anime Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal.
