|Facing the Spider|
When you reach the spider mastermind boss of Inferno (E3M8: Dis) in the game Doom you'll hear Facing the Spider. The song was composed by Bobby Prince in Sequencer Plus Gold. The songs sounds like it was inspired by S.O.D.'s Sargent D & the S.O.D. or perhaps Slayer'a Silent Scream. An earlier version of the song, called un08.mid, was released at John Romero's web site. It is included in the Doom music rip.
Facing the Spider plays in E3M8: Dis.
This song's internal wad name is "D_E3M8". It is not included in the shareware version of the game.
Facing the Spider plays in the final level, E3M7: Dis.
The tune is output to S-SMP and arranged by Paul Webb.
