Zillion, originally released as 赤い光弾 ジリオン (Red Photon Zillion) is an platform action adventure game created by Sega and based off the Japanese anime of the same title. In the game's story, The White Knights are sent to Planet X where they must disable the planet's defense computers and activate the self-destruct sequence. Unfortunately, Apple and Champ have been taken captive leaving only JJ to save them. As you rescue the others you are allowed to select them to play with. Apple is faster and jumps higher, but has less energy, while Champ is very powerful, but slow moving.
