Once you've successfully defeated Red Falcon and escaped the tropical island, the credits will roll and you'll hear Contra's Victory theme. The very end of the Victory theme is the same as the game's Game Over fanfare. The tune was composed by Kazuki Muraoka. The title is unofficial.

The Victory song plays upon beating the game as the credits roll.
Contra (NES)
Just like the arcade game, the Victory song plays when you beat the game. The NES port has a nice message signifying your victory before the credits roll.
The song is the same throughout every region and the PlayChoice-10 release.
Gryzor (ZXS)
David Whittaker rearranged this song for the Spectrum release.
