Tsutomu Ogura is a Japanese composer and sound designer, known for his numerous works with Konami. He joined the company around 1987, with his first work being Battlantis, which he worked on with other members of the Konami Kukeiha Club. He is known for both his melancholic compositions and intense basslines. He originally started out working on Konami's arcade games. He was then assigned to their home platform games before eventually returning to do arcade games once more.

Around 2002, Ogura appears to have left Konami and the game industry as a whole.

Aliases

In Bayou Billy, he uses two different aliases; one for the Japanese version, and another for the North American version. In the Japanese version, he is credited as シンコン Ogura (Shinkon Ogura). The word Shinkon (新婚) is Japanese for Newlywed, suggesting he had recently got married during the game's development. In the North American version, he is credited as New Cuple Ogura, the world couple being misspelled, the name, again, suggesting he had recently married during the game's production.
