Treasures of the Savage Frontier is the sequel to Gateway to the Savage Frontier and is the ninth game in the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons computer game franchise.

Music

The game has a catchy title theme, but like most of the AD&D computer games, it's the only song in the game. The game itself does not contain audio credits but the manual does and credits Linwood Taylor for the music. In the game's credits, he is credited as an Encounter Artist.

While Linwood Taylor does not receive credit in the DOS version for music, he is credited for music in the Amiga version. Because his name still shows up in the DOS version's credits, he most likely ported over his own song.

The music still needs to be ripped from the MUSIC.DAX file. The game also contains a file called ZOUNDS.DAX which may contain the game's sound effects data.

The VGZ file was logged using ValleyBell's version of DOSBox 0.74. The file was then trimmed to play properly. Note that since the FM data for the trumpet is always different, the instrument will sound different every time it's played in the actual game.
