Tomonori Minami (better known as BA.M) is a Japanese composer and sound designer who worked for Compile. He joined the company around 1993 and left around 1996. During his time at the company, he wrote music, sound effects, and even created digitized sounds. His first work for the company was the Game Gear title Power Strike II, but as time went on, he became involved in Compile's Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. His works on the Nazo Puyo titles in particular are highly acclaimed in his native Japan.
Though his real name was never credited, his identity was revealed by Nobuaki Yamasaki.
