Title Screen is a loop in the game Vixen. Despite being arranged for all six platforms, it may not have been used in some of the ports.
Composition
The song is in A Major and alternates between two melodies, played over the same bass line and major chords. In every odd bar, chords 2 to 4 are quieter, which is achieved on every chip in a different way.
The song follows the chord progression: E A D B, all with optional 7ths.
Games
Vixen (C64)
Title Screen is played while the game alternates between the credits and todays top ten.
Chords 2 to 4 are routed through SID's built-in filter. However, due to a bug in the game, they are actually muted (although inaccurate emulators play them at full volume). Judging by Brooke's other C64 music drivers, it was probably supposed to be a band-pass filter.
Since Brooke always tuned his driver to NTSC C64s (possibly unknowingly), the song is transposed one semitone down to A flat Major.
Vixen (AMI)
Chords 2 to 4 are played in a different sample, mixed with a bass drum. Paula's 4th voice adds a whole bass drum note every bar.
