Tim Bartlett is a British composer and sound designer who is known for his work at Codemasters and has been working professionally in video game music for over 30 years.
Bartlett was a guitarist in a heavy metal band, and eventually gave guitar lessons at a music shop. He composed music at TSC Music, his own music company, sending his Soundtracker tunes to game developers. Eventually, his popularity ended up getting him a job offer for Codemasters in September 1993, in which he composed the music to several of their titles, mainly their racing games. He eventually got a promotion and became Audio Manager. After working for Codemasters for a little over 12 years, Tim left them in March 2006 to start his own freelance video game audio business known as "The Audio Guys" with Dan Gardner, another former audio lead at Codemasters. The two continue to operate the The Audio Guys to this day.
