The Imperial March
Composer John Williams
Released 1980-04-29

Along with the Star Wars (Main Theme), The Imperial March is one of the most iconic movie themes ever recorded. John Williams composed the tune for second Star Wars movie, Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back. Like the Star Wars (Main Theme), this song is also featured in nearly every Star Wars game ever made.

The song is often called "Darth Vader's Theme" because it is usually played when Vader is the primary presence on screen. Thanks to this distinction, it has become the single musical theme most synonymous with evil. The recording used in the movie was performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.
