The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall is a fantasy open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Softworks and released in 1996 for DOS. It is a sequel to The Elder Scrolls: Arena and the second installment in The Elder Scrolls series. It is the first game in the series to be rated M. On July 9, 2009, Bethesda made Daggerfall available as a free, legal download on their website, commemorating the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls franchise.
