Taro Kudo is a Japanese game developer. He started working for Konami around 1991 and worked on a couple SNES games, which he is probably best known for. As a result of being a part of their sound team, he was a part of the Konami Kukeiha Club. Around 1992, possibly later, Taro left Konami and started to work for Square Enix as a designer and planner. He later started Lovedelic, and started Thelonious Monkees with Hirofumi Taniguchi and Masanori Adachi. The name is a reference to both Thelonius Monk and The Monkees. For a short time, he worked with Vanpool in which he also worked on music and sound. In 2017, he left the company and currently works as a freelance writer and designer. During his time with Vanppol, he voiced the character Jiro in "The Rolling Western".
