I asked Noriyuki about this game's soundtrack. This was his response after seeing the credits screenshot I showed him:

もちろん覚えていますよ！メガドライブの「騎士伝説」というゲームですね。音楽はドイツ風マーチをいっぱい作りました。

His reply says that he does indeed remember the game, and that he made German march songs for the game.

Then I asked him about Mizoguchi's role in the sound department. He said:

サウンドディレクションですね、溝口さんは。

According to Iwadare, Mizoguchi was only the sound director.
