Takafumi Miura is a Japanese sound effects designer, composer, and drummer who worked for Data East. He started doing sound for games around 1988. Mostly, he worked on the NES games produced by Data East, and commonly worked alongside Shogo Sakai, Masaaki Iwasaki and Yuji Suzuki. Miura was usually responsible for sound effects for the games he worked on, rarely contributing music. Around 1995, he left Data East and the video game industry, but he still works in sound design and continues performing with various bands. After Gamadelic's resurrection in 2013, he reprised his role as their drummer alongside other former Data East composers.

Over the years, he has been credited under various aliases. According to Miura, the alias 'Zett' comes from his colleagues at Data East, who coined the nickname due to his Nissan Z. Looking back, Takafumi says it sounds embarrassing. In Rampage, he is credited as Takashi Miura. He says the programmers made a mistake and replaced 'fumi' with 'shi'.
