Steve Henifin is an American composer and sound designer. Around 1992, he started working for Virgin Games, primarily working on their SNES and Genesis games, usually alongside Tommy Tallarico. His best known work for Virgin Games is perhaps Cool Spot, where he composed the track Wall Tune. Around 1995, Steve left Virgin and started working at Crystal Dynamics.
Unfortunately, on June 29, 2019, it was announced on his Facebook page that he had passed away.

Steve used a variant of Nintendo's Kankichi-kun by Matt From. He also used the Chip Level Designs sound driver, itself a variant of Kankichi-kun.
