Platform: DOS
Year: 1991
Developer: Creative Labs, Inc.

The Sound Blaster Pro is a sound card for DOS-based computers and released in 1991. It utilized two YM3812 (OPL2) sound chips capable of 22 distinct audio channels using FM Synthesis and a DAC to play digital sound effects and speech. For additional details about the sound card, see Sound Blaster Pro.

Creative Labs bundled several audio files with the card and various programs play them like the JukeBox, Play CMF, and the Creative Voice Editor. The included music has been recorded here. Several of these programs are upgrades from the software bundled with the original Sound Blaster. As improvements were made to the card, upgrades to the software were also made and released by Creative.
