Soshi Hosoi is a Japanese sound composer. He started off working for Video System around 1992 and left around 1997. He usually worked on the company's arcade games, but sometimes worked on their console games as well. He is probably best known for working on the Aero Fighters series.
He returned to the video game industry around 2016, composing music for indie game developers.
Audio Development
Arcade
Soshi used Zmusic for the Sharp X68000. His music was then converted to a sound driver by Masami Yamana and Hiroe Soyama.
SNES
Soshi used a few variants of Nintendo's Kankichi-kun, either reprogrammed by Video System or Khaos.
