Galimberti used StarTrekker to arrange the song in 2 voices (out of 4). The instruments are EloPin and DumpfBass (German for MuffledBass) from unknown sources. For the driver, the game uses Noisetracker V1.0.
On NTSC machines, the game is 20% faster and 1% higher than on PAL. To record the song:
- Clik Clak was started in WinUAE 3.6.1 with NTSC off.
- Gear Works was started in WinUAE 4.4.0 with NTSC on.

Galimberti used RoMuzak V6.3 to arrange the song and also its two instruments. Since no sound effects play during roll, the bass plays on two octaves.
According to HVSC, Galimberti commented on YouTube that he was using a 6581 sound chip. However, the entire song is muffled and every bass note clicks on them, unlike on the 8580. To record the song:
- Clik Clak was started on a real C64C with an 8580 R5 4091.
In the rip, it is track 8.
