Shodan Nintei ~ Ending plays when you beat the Shodan Nintei Mode in Shougi: Shodan Icchokusen for the PC Engine.

Beating this mode rewards the player with a diploma which allows them to submit an application for a diploma which could be given by the Japan Shogi Association. The deadline to do so was originally set a year after the game's release. However, in an ad for the game in the manual of Shougi Shoshinsha Muyou, the manual explains that due to the game's popularity, the deadline was expanded indefinitely.

The song was written by Novko Hasebe. She sequenced the song on her Kawai Q-80 MIDI Sequencer and converted her composition to sheet music, which was sent to Home Data. It was arranged into Home Data's sound driver by Kenichi Fujii.
