Seiichi Hamada is a Japanese composer, musician, and bassist. He is known for his several works with Data East and Sega. He studied bass under Motohiko Hamase. He started working for Data East in 1989, where he also served as a bassist for the company's in-house band Gamadelic. At Data East, Hamada was tasked with several audio-related duties including composition, sound design, and sound programming. In Japan, he is best known for his works on Data East's Detective Saburo Jinguji series. In 1999, Hamada departed Data East and started working at Sega's AM2 development division. Some of his best known works at Sega include Shining Force Cross and Border Break. He stayed with Sega all the way until 2014. When Gamadelic resurfaced in 2013, Hamada joined the band.

Aliases
During his time with Data East, Seiichi Hamada was usually credited under the pseudonym Atomic Hanada. This was in reference to the Atomic Drop, the signature move of pro-wrestler Seiji Sakaguchi. His first name was sometimes written as Seiuchi, which is the Japanese word for "walrus."
In 2015, Seiichi revealed that he was the person behind the name credited in some games as 馳見"Ace"大地 (Hasemi "Ace" Daichi). Hamada explained that the name is simply an anagram of his real name.
