Saori Kobayashi is a Japanese composer and sound designer probably best known for scoring the Panzer Dragoon games.
Kobayashi had graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae. She started out composing music as a student for various types of media including commercials, dramas, and even video game music. In 1994, she joined Sega's sound team, and scored the music to many of the Panzer Dragoon series, which received critical acclaim, and are possibly her best known soundtracks. In 1998, Kobayashi left Sega to pursue her freelance career, where she was not only a keyboardist, but also an instructor. Though she had left Sega, she continued to work with them freelance, and even scored the music to the game Crimson Dragon.
Today, Kobayashi continues to compose music, and performs in the band AKANE with Yumiko Takahashi.

Gameography
Note: Though some sites give credit to Kobayashi for Sassou Shounen Eiyuuden Coca-Cola Kid, she has told us that she did not work on this game, so it is not listed in her gameography. The game credits say Sound Directer: Sarry.
