Ryō Nagamatsu is a Japanese sound composer who worked for Nintendo’s sound department starting in 2006. After initially working at Nintendo EAD, he moved to Nintendo EPD after EAD and SPD merged in 2015. He is mostly known for his soundtracks for the Mario, Splatoon, and Legend of Zelda series, as well as a few character voices from games he worked on.
In 2019, Nagamatsu established his own personal music production company, RH Music, although it is unclear as to what activity the company may have participated in while he remained at Nintendo. Later that year, under the pseudonym tonP (とんP), Nagamatsu began producing choreographed music animations on his YouTube channel "Concept3音楽局". As of November 2022, the channel has been inactive.
In May 2023, Nagamatsu left Nintendo and became a freelance music producer and consultant, focusing on his previously established company RH Music.
