Ryō Nagamatsu is a Japanese sound composer that has worked for Nintendo’s sound department since 2006. After originally working at Nintendo EAD, he moved to Nintendo EPD when EAD and SPD merged in 2015. He is mostly known for his soundtracks for the Mario, Mario Kart, and Legend of Zelda series. Alongside his career at Nintendo, he has uploaded many original songs to his website 'Sanctuary Ryo' and written a couple of orchestral tracks for his YouTube channel.
