Prince of Persia is a platforming adventure game created by Jordan Mechner. The player is a young Persian prince. His girlfriend, the princess, has been taken hostage by the evil clutches of Jaffar, the evil Grand Vizier to the Sultan of Persia. He wants to marry the princess, and he's giving her a full hour to consider marrying him or not. If she chooses not to, or she's run out of time, Jaffar will have no problem killing her. It is up to you to save your girlfriend and put an end to Jaffar's evil. The game is known for its rotoscoped animation, making for more realistic movements of the characters. However, this also means that you must be more careful of your movements, as your character take some time to slow down and stop after you let go of the forward button.
The Game Boy version was developed by Magnin & Associates.

Music
This is the first game, which composed and tested by Tommy Tallarico. While testing it, he noticed that there were no audio designers for the game, so he asked if he could work on the music and that he'd even do it free of charge. The staff at Virgin let him port Francis Mechner's complex compositions from the computer versions to the Game Boy.
Recording
These recordings were made using foobar2000 with exporting to OGG (Vorbis) format.
