Predator 2 features original music by Matt Furniss, a pioneer in the video game industry. According to Matt, this was one of the first Genesis games he worked on. He also created the game's instruments, which explains why they sound a bit choppy. According to Matt, he wrote the music on an unnamed tracker program for the Atari Mega ST. Both, the tracker and the Genesis sound driver were written by Shaun Hollingworth. Matt and Shaun go by their usual alias Krisalis.
The game contains a sound test, but for an unknown reason, the ending theme is missing from it. However, two unused songs can be found in the sound test.
The names of the songs are named after the VGM rip. According to Matt, there are no official song titles for this game.
