Title
The filename is play.am1 and, apart from am1, may have come directly from Froelich.
Composition
Froelich arranged using a mouse in Visual Composer (probably version 1.5 or later), and somebody optimized his files using ROL2MIDI (an early version).
The structure is:
- section A in D major
- melody only
- bass
- arpeggio + drum intro
- snare echoes from now on
- section B in D minor, bass drum only, bass changes instrument forever
- section A in E major
- section A in F♯ major
- section C in F♯ major, drums rest temporarily
- bass one octave down, doubled by two detuned bells
- bass back up, bells come along
- section B in F♯ minor
- section A in E major
- bass ends at E as usual
- bass ends at C♯
- bass ends at C♯ again
- song slows down, bass ends back at E
The OPL rhythm mode instruments in order of appearance are:
- MARIMBA1: melody of sections A and C, with chorus
- OBOE1: initial bass
- ?: arpeggio, with echo unless bell is playing
- SNARE1
- BDRUM1
- HIHAT1
- ?: section B, bass onwards
- ?: bell with chorus

If you left the setup with Adlib card on, Play starts at the quiz and continues over Ending.
For recording, the game was played on a real Pentium 60 MHz with a Sound Blaster 16 CT1740.
