Pit-Fighter is a fighting game developed originally by Atari Games for arcades. It was later released for several home platforms at the time. The SNES version is perhaps the most notorious version for it's horrendous gameplay, awful controls, graphics, and audio. In addition, a lot of content was cut from the SNES version including the interactive audience and some characters.
While no developer is credited, the game uses the same font as WWF: King of the Ring (NES), which credits Eastridge Technology, as well as Chris Gray Enterprises.

Music
Pit-Fighter for the SNES contains only a single song, which is one of the fight themes from the arcade version by John Paul. Unfortunately, the arrangement has become quite notorious on its own due to its seemingly rushed nature, as well as the out-of-place instrument samples. The lone tune plays throughout the entirety of the game as soon as the first round starts.
Because Nick Eastridge is known for doing sound porting, he most likely did the arrangement on SNES. The Game Boy version also has the same arrangement.

Like all other games by Eastridge Technology, the game lacks credits. A code comparison reveals the game to use Nick Eastridge's sound driver. Since nobody else is known to have used it, as well as Eastridge doing known sound porting, he was most likely the game's sound arranger. He had also previously arranged another Atari Games score when he ported Paperboy (NES).
Game Rip
SPC dumps are recorded during actual game play. Normally, the game uses the S-SMP hardware in a way where ripping SPC files is impossible. However, KungFuFurby reprogrammed the game's sound code so that SPC files could be dumped.
