Music
On the title screen, you can choose between nine electronic songs to accompany the entire game, or four sound effects. Long notes briefly click as the screen switches between title and in-game.
Each song was arranged using Sidmon, a commercial tracker where they drew waveforms to make melodic instruments, set up effects such as modulation, ADSR, arpeggio and portamento, and loaded a few drum samples. It is the only known video game work from Branko Mikic and Carsten Herbst, who soon co-created Sonic Arranger. While the two teenage programmers were attending schools in South Hesse, the two musicians were apparently in their early 20s, 250 km away in Hanover, or both.
Recording
The music was recorded from the game in WinUAE 6.0.3 with NTSC off, Stereo separation 100%, and Audio filter:
- Emulated (A500), like most gamers had.
Recordings for Amiga 1000 and 1200 can be made if found different enough. The short soundtracks 01, 04, 06 and 07 were played twice, and each song was played 10 seconds longer and faded out.
