Peter Kerekes is an American composer and sound designer. He has composed the music and sound for a variety of television, film, and video games.
Kerekes started working on video game music in 1995 after graduating the University of Miami. He moved to Los Angeles, studied post production and audio engineering at UCLA, and subsequently got a job at Adrenalin Entertainment. He originally joined as a sound designer, but shortly started working on music and became the company's audio director. He left Adrenalin in 1999 and went freelance for a while. In 2000, he co-founded Beat Revolution, a company which produced music and sound for media including television, film, and video games. He left in 2007 and started NMD Music and Sound (formerly PK Music) the next year, where he is a freelance composer for media.
