Paul Carter is a English video game programmer and founder of Logik State.
Audio Development
Game Boy Advance
Carter developed GBAModPlay sound driver, which can play MOD files. Initially, this sound driver was licensed to Atomic Planet Entertainment. Later, it mostly used only by Allister Brimble and Anthony Putson.
At 2004, this sound driver was updated and renamed to LS_Play. This version supports LS files, which is possibly modified version of XM.
Nintendo DS
Carter developed DS driver, which based on LS_Play. Unlike the GBA driver, this version uses GBM and LS files, which are linked to SDAT file.
Like the GBA driver, this sound driver mostly used by Allister Brimble and Anthony Putson.
Carter used his sound driver on his games, when he worked at GameSause.
Later, he modified Nintendo's Nitro Composer sound driver.
