Pachicom is a pachinko-simulation game by Toshiba EMI. It was released for only four platforms. Because of their simplicity, the games were identical across all platforms, but with some differences in graphic and sound design. Though the game was released as early as 1985, it has some neat features, such as over 300 possible pachinko layouts, which makes for better replay value. In addition, there are 2 different game modes, such as trying to achieve a high score and finish a bonus round, as well as trying to achieve the highest score possible within the given time limit.
Though the games never left Japan, the games themselves are entirely in English, making it easy to play for people who cannot speak Japanese. In addition, there has also been guides written in English about how to play the game.

Music
All versions of the game contain the same title theme. The song is 10-20 seconds long, depending on which platform it's on, and doesn't loop. The title music is written in 4/4 time in the key of G major. The song uses the following chord progression: G C G C G D G. The Famicom version plays at 150 BPM.
Quality
This series is one rare case where the home console version surpasses the quality of the computer versions. The Famicom allowed for different pulse waves, unlike the MSX and PC88 versions, which only offered a 50% square wave. The MSX and PC88 version are about on par with each other as a result.
Even though the game was released for the Famicom Disk System peripheral, it did not take advantage of the FDS's RP2C33 sound chip, which added an expansion sound channel that used wavetable synthesis.
