The Opening to Blaster Master plays while you watch the story of Blaster Master unfold. A boy follows his escaped pet frog into a swamp with a radioactive box that falls down a pit where an unmanned huge tank with a perfect-fitting battle suit is ready to be piloted.
The song uses a common chord progression heard in tunes like Passageways from The Goonies 2 and Underworld BGM from The Legend of Zelda. The song repeats in blocks of 4, alternating pitch in each repeat. After the first 8 measures, a bit of percussion is added to all subsequent repeats.
