Oktalyzer is a module tracker created by Armin Sander. The program is so named because it supports eight channels. This was impressive since the Amiga audio hardware at the time only supported four channels. To allow for eight channels, Oktalyzer created eight channels in memory, mixed them down to four channels in real time, and sent the result to the Amiga sound chip. This was a processor intensive process which degraded sound quality, but the increased channels more than made up for it.

Music
Oktalyzer came with several demo tracks composed by Torsten Burock, a veteran to the demo scene. They are sorted alphabetically as they would appear in the file list. The songs were included in versions 1.53 and 1.57, but don't appear to be present in version 1.1.

The OKT files are located in the .\OK-Songs folder, though, like other Amiga files, they don't have file extensions. The earliest versions of Oktalyser didn't have demo music included with the program, but later versions did. Some of the songs are compressed in Power Packer format. The songs were recorded using DUMB Module Decoder in foobar2000.
Some of the songs contained meta data. This is included here for now, but, when a song page is created for each song, the info should be moved into them.
- Grundlagen Demo Song - "Basics"
- Gumba Vahim Enim - "Gumba Least Most"
- Beautiful Dreamer - A parlor song originally composed by Stephen Foster
