Nihon Bussan (日本物産株式会社 = Japan Products Co., Ltd.), also known as Nichibutsu, was a Japanese game development studio and publishing company. It was founded by Sueharu Torii in 1978. The name Nichibutsu is a shortening of the kanji of the company's name (日物). They are best known for their several arcade games including Crazy Climber, Seicross, and Terra Cresta. The company also produced adult arcade games under the name "Sphinx". They made their debut in 1978 with Table Attacker. In their early years, many of their games were identical to other arcade games at the time, which led to the company receiving lawsuits, so they started coming up with original ideas.

In 1983, the company also started getting into the home console market. They first made their own home console, the "My Vision", which was just computerized versions of six board games. However, when the Famicom started to become the hottest gaming console in Japan, the company shifted their focus to it, their first release being Magmax.

In 1989, several employees left to form Make Software, but continued to work closely with Nihon Bussan, and even had some of their games published by them.

The company started to slow down during the 90s, not being able to keep up with the game development industry standards. They ceased game development in 2007, and ceased operations completely in 2009. In March 2014, the company folded when the company's founder retired. The company was sold to Hamster Corporation, who later dissolved the company near the end of 2015.
