Neil Falconer was an American composer and sound designer who worked at Bally Midway. He is best known for working on the music for the original arcade cabinet for Spy Hunter. He was born on May 5, 1948 in Rockford, Illinois. After graduating high school, he attended both the Wheaton and Elmhurst College, and also served in the US Army. After returning from the Army, Neil attended Southern Illinois University to finish his studies, and obtained both his bachelor and master's degrees for electrical engineering and business administration. After building one of the first organs for the company GEM, Neil moved onto Bally Midway and Data East, working on several games for them. In 1999, Neil moved to Reno to work for IGT.
Unfortunately on March 21, 2012, Neil was involved in a fatal automobile accident in Lassen County, California.
