Ms. Pac-Man: Tengen (NES)
Ms. Pac-Man | ||||||||
|
Ms. Pac-Man was one of the few NES games that had two releases by two different developers; one by Tengen, and a licensed version developed by Now Production. This version of the game developed by two people, Franz Lanzinger for the game's progrmaming, and David O'Riva for graphics and audio. Both of them would leave Tengen and would go on to found Bitmasters shortly after the game's release.
The unlicensed version was ported to the Sega Genesis in 1991, and to the SNES in 1996 by Williams Entertainment. In this game, you play as Pac-Man's wife Ms. Pac-Man. Like her husband, Ms. Pac-Man must eat all of the power pellets that are all throughout the level. Along the way, the player will get to take a break with some short cutscenes of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man's developing relationship.

Music
Since this was a conversion of an early arcade game, there's not much to expect in the audio department. There are only nine songs and the rest are just sound effects. In the game credits, David O'Riva was listed as "Special Thanks" in it. It can be assumed that he also wrote the music and sound effects. However, it is unknown who composed the original arcade version's music.
