Monopoly is a video game adaptation of the board game of the same name. It was developed by Sculptured Software and published by Parker Brothers. This particular version of Monopoly was also released on the Super Nintendo.
In the game, you play against up to eight other AI opponents in an attempt to own as much property as possible and force your opponents into bankruptcy. The computer players don't have a difficulty per se, but they all have different personalities; some are more aggressive than others, and some aren't too smart and can be taken advantage of. Along the way, you can trade and bid properties, and can even build houses and hotels which will considerably increase the cost of rent for those who are unfortunate to land on your space.
The game received mixed reviews from critics and players alike.

Music
The game's music is by the group Neuromantic Productions. Most of the music consists of orchestral, jazz, ragtime, and 1920s style music. There is no main theme music and none of the music loops. The music would later be ported over to the SNES version, in which the music received an upgrade in fidelity.
Neuromantic Productions used GEMS to create the game's music and sound.
