The game uses the "M" format for music, and "S" format for sound. The latter is actually RAW format with the following specifications: 8000 Hz sample rate, Unsigned 8-bit PCM encoding, little-endian byte order, and 1 channel.

ReWolf's Might and Magic III CC file packer/unpacker was used to extract the music, sounds, and drivers. The file names for some sounds are not known, so the extraction program used generic names for these, based on the internal file name hash.
