Midnight Resistance is a side-scrolling run and gun game, originally produced by Data East and released in arcades in 1989. The Amstrad CPC version was ported by Special FX Software and published by Ocean Software in 1990. The graphics are taken from the ZX Spectrum version.
Midnight Resistance is set in a dystopian future where the player controls a member of a resistance movement who goes on a mission to rescue his kidnapped family from a drug kingpin.

Music
The music was composed by Keith Tinman. It is not known how he composed the music, but he certainly wrote it in hexadecimal. The game contains only a single piece of music that plays in the menu. The name of the music are from the Arcade version.
