Midnight Resistance is a side-scrolling run and gun game, originally produced by Data East and released in arcades in 1989. The Amiga version was ported by Special FX Software and published by Ocean Software in 1990.
Midnight Resistance is set in a dystopian future where the player controls a member of a resistance movement who goes on a mission to rescue his kidnapped family from a drug kingpin.

The music was composed by Keith Tinman who used a Roland D-10 digital synthesizer and Pro Sound Sampler for music arrangement. The names of the musics are from the Arcade version.
