Michiru Yamane is a Japanese composer/musician who worked at Konami from 1987 until 2008. She's best known for her work on the Castlevania series but now works as a freelance composer. As of 2009, she has been studying music history and critique but also attended Penguin Ongaku Daigaku (ペンギン音楽大学) under Naruyoshi Kikuchi while studying Jazz music analysis. Her music influence comes from Bin Kaneda (Composer), Fumihiko Iida (Writer), Joseph-Maurice Ravel (Composer), Naruyoshi Kikuchi (Composer/Musician).
