The song was composed and arranged by David Wise in 6502 assembly using hexadecimal numbers for notation into the Rare sound driver programmed by Chris Stamper and Mark Betteridge.

David should be contacted for an official title.

Composition

The song is in the key of G minor (G♭ or F♯ minor in the PAL version), in the 4/4 time signature, and plays at 134 beats per minute. Wise does an interesting trick with the RP2A03, and uses all three melodic channels for both bass and harmony simultaneously throughout the song.

The song has a jazzy feel to it, playing in a shuffle beat with many 8th note triplets in it. The song ends with the lead square channel playing a trill between D and F, supported by the second square wave playing B and the bass playing G, ending on a G7.
