Masami Yone

Masami Yone is a Japanese composer and sound designer who works at Nintendo's Planning and Development Division, and has been with the company since 1999. His name can usually be found in Nintendo's handheld games like the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS.
Yone started off working on working on Korokoro Kirby, as well as the Game Boy ports of the Super Mario Bros. series. He is best known for his work in the Rhythm Heaven series of games, where he usually serves as an audio director, composer, and arranger. His work on Rhythm Heaven (NDS) won the sound category for the 2009 CEDEC Awards. While he did not compose or arrange music for Rhythm Heaven Megamix (NDS), he did serve as a director of the game.
