Marvin Grossberg - Reckonings and Regrets of an Aged Attorney is, unsurprisingly, the leitmotif of Marvin Grossberg in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It is also reused for other characters later in the game, oftentimes ones that are meant to be especially quirky.
As with the rest of the game's soundtrack, the song was composed by Masakazu Sugimori and first saw the light of day on October 12th, 2001, when Gyakuten Saiban (GBA) came out.

Title
The English name comes from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Original Soundtrack. The original Japanese name, "星影宇宙ノ介～老い、悔い、報い," is consistently used in every soundtrack released in the country. It roughly means "Soranosuke Hoshikage ~ Old Age, Regret, Retribution," though unofficial translations tend to vary in their wording (for instance, using "Reward" instead of "Retribution" or shortening "Old Age" to just "Age").
Composition
The song is exceedingly laid-back in tone. Prominent bass notes anchoring the entire composition, including the piano-like synths used for the B section's main melody.

The original version of the song was made with the GBA's sound hardware in mind.
This iteration would become the basis for the version used in Gyakuten Saiban (W32). The only difference is that the original song's left channel was used for both the left and right ones, downgrading the song from stereo to mono.

The DS's more advanced hardware leads to this port's arrangement sounding considerably clearer than the original. Other than that, however, the composition remains practically untouched from the GBA version.
