The Look Sharp/Be Sharp March is an instrumental of the traditional march genre. It was composed by Mahlon Merrick for the television show "Gellette Cavalcade of Sports". The television show made the song quite popular during it time, and it received radio airplay and was used in the repertoire of many high school and college bands of the day.

Koji Kondo arranged two versions of the

Punch-Out!!. The first plays at the title screen, the second is unsed in the game, but found a place in Arm Wresting, a retooling of the cabinet.
Arm Wrestling (ARC)
Koji Kondo arranged a version of the
Look Sharp/Be Sharp March for when you successfully catch the money bag as your reward for defeating the strongest man in
Arm Wrestling (ARC). The same version used in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! is also in the NSF file, but it seems to be unused.
Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (NES)
The Look Sharp/Be Sharp March is rendered in three different forms for Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (NES). A short excerpt is heard the opening screen at the beginning of the game. Then, a longer version is heard at the game's introduction. Finally, a more complete version is played during the ending credits.
The song remains unchanged in later Punch-Out!! release, as well as the PlayChoice-10 port.
