In the NES game, Leap of Faith is played in areas 2, 9, and 11. The music often conjures up visions of slime pulling you down into the depths because of area 2. The title of the track comes from the official Bionic Commando soundtrack.

In the liner notes for the 8-bit Bionic Commando soundtrack, Gavin Bachner writes:

Gorgeous bit of music. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's dorked-out by "singing along" made up lyrics to this. Great motivator while you're dealing with the strange slime creatures of Area 02, or trying to successfully swing over the vast flames of Area 11.

The Game Boy remake has a relatively accurate rearrangement of Leap of Faith, though it's a little sparse sounding since it doesn't have as many instruments to work with. It is used in areas 7, 12, and 16.

The song is track 6 in the GBS file.
