Kenta Nagata is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and audio director. His work ranges over a decade. He started working for Nintendo around 1996 when he scored the music to Mario Kart 64. His other notable works include the Animal Crossing, Big Brain Academy, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. In recent years, he has been credited as a sound director rather than as a composer. When he composed music, he usually worked with other musicians, mostly with Tohru Minegishi.
