Kenichi Okuma was a professional in the audio industry since the early 90s. He started out working at Cube part-time. Some of his works include the FM arrangement of Parasol Stars and Wings of Wor. He left Cube shortly after because he was not happy with the pay. On December 5, 1991, Okuma started Two-Five with Noriyuki Iwadare and Isao Mizoguchi. He left in 1996, but continued to work closely with the company. Around this time, he also used the pseudonym Shibuya Kouen or Shibuya Park.

Unfortunately, on July 7, 2022, Kenichi lost his battle with esophageal cancer.

Audio Development

Parasol Star and Wings of Wor's FM sound conversion work was done when I was an apprentice at "Cube," but I ended up quitting without a full-time job. The reason was that the pay didn't match what I wanted. Since it was around the time of the Cube, I was probably brushing up the FM sound source for the flute sound on the first part of "Wings of Wor," for which Mr. Iwadare was composing a song, or copying the PC Engine waveform onto a sheet of graph paper and reading the address or data from it.

GEN

Kenichi used a sound driver by Yasuhiro Taguchi.
